A tradition is set to continue in the village of Carbon Hill, as the town hosts its 69th annual Homecoming this month.
Organizers are putting the final touches on the summer event that draws thousands of people to the community each June. As it does each year the festival will include a carnival, softball tournament, parade and fireworks. The ladies of the village will once again bake homemade pies for the food stand and hundreds will flock to the bingo stand to take in a game or two with the hope of taking home a prize donated by local business.
