Easter egg hunt

The Braidwood Park District’s annual children’s Easter egg hunt in the Old Smokey City Park will take place on Saturday, March 31, beginning promptly at 1 p.m. Age groups will be birth to 3 years - between the baseball and softball fields; 4 to 6 years - north boys’ baseball field; and 7 to 9 years - south girls’ softball field. Braidwood McDonald’s and Polk-a-Dot Drive In generously donated ice cream treat coupons which will be placed inside eggs and spread throughout the hunting grounds. Treat bags will be given out after the hunt to all children while supplies last. Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny will make a special appearance to meet with children before and after the hunt. Arrive early and check in under the pavilion between the baseball fields prior to the start of the hunt. Children can enter a raffle to win a free Easter basket, complements of the Braidwood Lions Club. There will be one for a boy and one for a girls.
