Sharon B. Owens

DAWSON, IL—Sharon B. Owens (nee Toler), 71, of Dawson, IL, passed away Thursday, June 17, 2021 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, IL.
Born July 29, 1949 in Springfield, she was the daughter of John and Betty L. (nee Harrell) Toler. Sharon worked for Walmart in Springfield for many years. She enjoyed camping and traveling to many different places to find the best fishing lakes with her longtime partner, Robert. She also had a wonderful bond with her son, Brian and loved spending time with him and his family.
Surviving are her son, Brian (Melina) Collins, of Springfield; one grand-daughter, Ariana; lifelong partner, Robert Williams, of Dawson; three brothers: Dan (Sylvia) Toler, of The Woodlands, TX; Tom (Judy) Toler, of Braidwood and Robert Toler, of Gardner; two sisters, Sandi Renoud, of Buffalo, IL and Patty (Ben) Calderone, of Braidwood and numerous nieces, nephews, and their families.
Preceding her in death were her parents and two brothers, David J. and John L. Toler. Cremation rites have been accorded. A private memorial visitation will be at the R.W. Patterson Funeral Home & Crematory in Braidwood. Inurnment will be in Braceville-Gardner Cemetery.
