Braidwood Lions Club selling Christmas Trees
THAT FAMOUS YELLOW trailer has returned to the parking lot at Whitmore Ace Hardware in Braidwood. The Braidwood Lions Club kicked off their annual Christmas tree sales this week, selling trees and wreaths. All proceeds from the tree sales will go back into the community in the form of the various community activities, beautification projects and humanitarian services. Photos by Marney Simon.
The Braidwood Lions Club is holding its annual Christmas Trees Sale fundraiser.
The club’s stand is located in the Whitmore Ace Hardware parking lot in Braidwood. Balsam trees ranging in height from 6 to 9 feet, along with small and large size decorated greenery wreaths, grave blankets, grave pillows, crosses, swags, sprays and various artificial greenery decorations will be for sale.
Lions Club house brooms, heavy duty brooms and whisk brooms will also be available for purchase. Hours are Monday thru Friday from noon to 7 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., while supplies last.
Sales will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 23 for Thanksgiving and resume Friday, Nov. 24
